Michigan Brewer’s Guild Summer Beer Festival

July 21, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us the MBG Summer Beer Festival!

Here’s what we’ll have on tap Friday:

Dune Rail: American Blonde Ale

As a style, American Blonde Ales are less bitter than the typical American Pale Ale.  This refreshing beer, with restrained hop aroma, lets the fine German malts take the stage for a round.

ABV:4%  IBU-11

Gluten for Punishment: German Style Wheat Ale

Traditionally, this German style of wheat beer was the only kind of beer brewers were allowed to brew in Bavaria during the summer, prior to refrigeration, as the special yeast used is more heat tolerant. With almost half of the grain in the recipe being malted wheat, there is an unmistakable bread-y flavor that is complimented perfectly by the tart and fruity notes that linger together.

ABV:5.5%  IBU-15

Alphonse:Session Rye IPA

Low in alcohol but big in hop flavor and aroma.  We used 100% Simcoe hops in this refreshing IPA which give it a piney/citrusy nose.  Hops dominate the flavor as well with just a hint of rye spice in the finish

ABV:4.3%  IBU-45
