We will be holding 16 team euchre tournament every other Sunday throughout the fall and winter.
We play six games and the team with the highest point total at the end will win a $25 Big Hart gift card for 1st place. We also award the 2nd place team a $15 gift card and a $5 gift card for 3rd.
If you wish to play, find a partner and sign up at the brewery or give us a call at 231-301-8226 and we’ll put you on the list. We will have a sign up sheet behind the bar. Spots are first come, first served. There is no entery fee.

Here are the official Big Hart House Rules for our Euchre Tournament:

-Opposing teams of two will face off in groups of four
-Decks consist of 24 cards. Score cards will be two fives, the game plays to 10 points
-We will play Stick the Dealer(If no one calls trump, the dealer must call suit)
-Cards will be dealt clockwise in two rounds, in either twos and threes or ones and fours. There should be four cards remaining, a miss deal will result in loss of deal
-Always follow suit. If you are caught not following suit your team will be penalized one point, if you have no points the opposing team will be awarded a point.
-No Table Talk
-Win 3 or 4 tricks in a hand, you win one point
-Win all 5 tricks, you win 2 points
-If your team is euchred the opposing team wins 2 points
-Take all 5 tricks on a loner hand, win 4 points
-Take 3 or 4 tricks on a loner hand, win 1 point
-If you are euchred when you call a loner hand, opposing team wins 2 points.
